Rovaniemi Design Week on päättynyt, mutta Designputiikki jatkaa toimintaansa vielä hetken. Designputiikki siirtyy Rovaniemen Muotoiluhuoneelle (Ainonkatu 1) neljän päivän ajaksi. Putiikissa on myytävänä Lapin yliopiston opiskelijoiden valmistamia designtuotteita.

Design Boutique was in Lappia House during the Rovaniemi Design Week. Now the Buotique moves in the Rovaniemi Design Lounge for four days. Design products of the students of the University of Lapland available.

Greetings from Rovaniemi Service Jam 2012 (February 24th-26th)! 

The weekend started on with a desert sunrise on Thursday Feb 24th, and ended with a Pacific sunset on Sunday Feb 26th. In those ninety hours or so, 2061 Jammers registered from 85 cities in almost 40 countries worldwide. Together, we created nearly 350 brand new service designs and published them for the world! The theme for the jammers (to develop new servicec) was “Hidden Treasure". Rovaniemi was also jamming and we had two marvellous teams: Story Hunters and Mystery People. New friendships made, new thinking developed, new exposure, new service designed … thanks to the students from University of Lapland and RAMK.

Huomenna Rovaniemi Design Weekin viimeinen Designkävelykierros! / Participate in the Design Stroll tomorrow, it's your last chance!

Huomenna lauantaina on mahdollisuus osallistua viimeiselle Rovaniemi Design Weekin Designkävelylle. Kierros starttaa kello 12 Arktikumilta (Pohjoisranta 4) ja päättyy Rovaniemen Muotoiluhuoneelle. Opastus on englanniksi.

The last Design Stroll of the Rovaniemi Design Week is tomorrow Feb 25th. The Stroll starts from Arktikum (Pohjoisranta 4) at 12pm and ends in Rovaniemi Design Lounge. The route is approximately 2 kilometres long and takes about 1,5 hours. The guidance is in English. Design Stroll takes participants to explore different perspectives of design, architecture, interiors and culture by visiting boutiques, cafeterias, design enterprises and cultural spots. The route have been made in co-operation between the WDC2012 Helsinki–Rovaniemi Project and Rovaniemen Matkailuoppaat ry (Rovaniemi Guide Association).
